For Teachers
Hold class at the Farm
Step out of the classroom for a day of experiential education at the farm. Educational programs provide real-life exercises in science, math and nutrition, and encourage students to recognize their role as environmental stewards. Visiting groups can participate in a Farm Tour, or delve into subject-specific classes such as: Critters in the Garden, Explore Soils, and Wetland Ecology. For a service-learning experience, bring your students to the farm to dig in, get their hands dirty and learn the importance of team-building and volunteerism.
